'Open Door Art' is a Community Interest Company who aims to make art understandable, accessible and enjoyable for all.
Creating a platform to enable all young people and communities to feel comfortable, empowered and proud of being creative and inventive souls. Taking away the shackles of 'old fashion' art stigmas, fears and the 'I'm not good at art' comments and feelings. For us art is for everyone and with that come so many personal and community benefits.
We can work with local schools and communities to create a variety of workshops, using a range of art mediums and deliver anything from long term projects to 1 to 1 art workshops and much more.

OUR PART FUNDED SCHOOL & COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS ARE BACK!!!

This year, we were lucky enough to secure some funding to cover 50% of all our art workshop costs to deliver 45 full day art workshops in schools and communities across Teesside and North Yorkshire...which were booked up within two days of the email being sent out.
Due to this success we have again been lucky enough to be given the go ahead to roll out our second year of funded workshops. This coming year we will be able to offer 50 funded workshops between February and October 2025 at a 40% discounted rate.

These workshops are professionally led, flexible, creative and individually designed art programmes at nearly half the price of the recommended Artists' Union England rates.
